Katie Hilborn is Founder and Managing Director of Regenerative Infrastructure Holdings, which builds Regenerative Intelligence Infrastructure™ — a new class of AI data center designed to circulate value rather than extract it, powered by restorative energy and governed by Community Trusts.
She originated an AI data center powered by hydro already serving rural and at-risk communities in Nepal, then formed the joint venture and, with her co-founder, built the capital-formation architecture and Community Trust structure now anchoring RIH’s model globally. Across twenty years in international development, fifteen centered on Nepal — including the 2015 earthquake response — where she originated and completed three critical-infrastructure projects. Her work also spans Uganda and Bolivia.
A ten-time award-winning humanitarian, she has spoken at SXSW, the AI Infra Summit and family-office summits in Dubai, Cannes and Miami. Her work has been covered by New York Magazine, NBC, ABC and USA Today Network.
